Finca Can Catalina is a 6-bedroom villa set on a 3-hectare fenced in property that sits on a hill of 400 hectares of land.

The villa is made up of 400m2 spread over 2 levels, with 5 bedrooms and an additional Casita (annex) fitting a double accommodation that sits on the property just a few steps from the main house.

The main house hosts 1 single bedroom on the ground floor while all 4 other bedrooms are on the 1st level – 2 double bedded rooms (180×200), 1 bedroom with 2 single beds (90×200), 1 bedroom with 2 single beds (80×200) with possibility to pull out 2 more beds from underneath, ideal for children. All bedrooms are ensuite with bathtub/shower, double wash basins, amenities, and plush towels. All bedrooms have views, and some feature access to a terrace/balcony with views of the hills or the sea.

The finca is accessed by private road around 5 minutes’ drive past Cala Llamp in Andratx. The main house overlooks the majestic coastline all the way to the islands of Cabrera with all shades of blue from the swimming pool to the sea and the skies. This part of the island is unique for its privacy and space and the finca boasts a luxurious layout.

The infinity pool is the perfect place to bask in the sun and relax. From this vantage point one can see Cala Llamp, Santa Ponsa, the islands of Dragonera, Cala Blau and islands of Cabrera, a view very few are privileged to enjoy!

This home has two living rooms both with large bay window views. The dining areas lead from indoors put to the covered exterior spaces. Various terraces wrap around the house with comfortable and different seating in each of them. Dining al fresco is a must in Mallorca – this house has not only one but 3 areas, one just outside of the kitchen under cover, one under pine trees by the pool and a 3rd one by the main entrance with 2 large round stone tables.

The kitchen is fully equipped in case you feel like channelling your inner chef. The central island is within an open plan space with the perfect breakfast table in the kitchen. A chef’s delight is the organic garden that’s available on the property.

The pool area, with its sunbeds and lounge is the perfect viewpoint for the endless blues that stretch across the seascape. Various nooks and crannies of the fincas exterior can be used to read a book, chill and relax, or take a nap. Nearby the pool is a changing room with shower and toilet.

Mediterranean gardens wrap around the house. A large centenarian olive tree and two welcoming cypress trees flank the façade at the property’s entrance. Around the perimeter of the finca are beautiful pine trees that create natural shade, and the lower grounds are covered with shrubs and bushes.

ABOUT THE AREA

Tucked around the corner from Port d’Andratx, Cala Llamp Bay has one of the most stunning views in Mallorca. The Tramuntana mountains create high cliffs all around, forming a sheltered crescent bay with calm, beautifully clear water.

As Cala Llamp is tricky to get to without a car or boat, and there is no actual beach, it’s much quieter than it should be. This bay is absolutely stunning. Spend the day swimming in the crystalline waters and explore the rock pools. The area is around 100 metres long and 20 metres deep, and there are no facilities other than those at the beach club which you can pay to access. The Gran Folies Beach Club is adjacent to the stone platform sunbathing shelves and they offer sun loungers, parasols, a restaurant and a swimming pool.

Nearby you will find Port Andratx located on the farthest point of Mallorca’s south west area. It is renowned for its beautiful coastline leading up to the foothills of the stunning landscape of the Sierra Tramuntana Mountains (now a UNESCO World Heritage Site), its famous marina and picturesque port.

There are almost no signs of mass tourism in this charming area which offers high quality Mallorcan restaurants serving quality local produce and freshly caught fish, designer fashion boutiques and independent shops with the exclusive Camp de Mar golf course nearby. A few minutes from the port along the coast is the famous St Elm beach which is widely regarded as one of the most beautiful in Mallorca.
